About this care
BSO de Boomklevers is part of Stichting Kinderopvang KiWi and is located within Kindcentrum De Beukenlaan at Beukenlaan 42 in Winschoten. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our doors are open every school day, as well as on study days and during school holidays.
Our spacious group room offers various play corners, a separate play hall and a large communal area where children can explore and develop freely. Surrounding the building is a large, green playground with a sandpit and play equipment. The natural setting encourages outdoor play and discovery.
During holidays we join forces with KiWi BSOs De Flamingo’s and De Leeuwen at one location, ensuring a welcoming and safe place for your child at all times. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to give your child a great time with activities that match their interests and development.

Summary
BSO de Boom klevers in Winschoten was inspected on 12 January 2026 by GGD Groningen (Municipal Health Service Groningen). The after-school care (BSO) accommodates a maximum of 46 children (ages 4-13) and meets the statutory requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate and staff and groups. However, a violation was identified regarding parental rights: the operator has done insufficiently to establish a parent committee and has not sufficiently involved parents in another way. There was no parent consultation prior to a rate change. In its response, the operator indicated that it is actively working on increasing parent involvement and hiring external expertise. The GGD advises the municipality of Oldambt to enforce.
