Summary

This follow-up investigation at after-school care (BSO) De Bonte Bende in Empe followed a warning from the municipality of Brummen dated 15 December 2025. During the annual inspection on 14 November 2025, shortcomings were identified in three areas: changes not reported to the municipality, missing written agreements for cross-location care, and children being structurally cared for at another location without a fixed base group. At this follow-up investigation on 27 February 2026, it was found that the provider has resolved all violations. Care now takes place again at the own location on Friday afternoons, with care at other locations only during school holidays. The written agreements have been updated and the pedagogical policy has been revised.
