About this care
Welcome to Partou After-School Care De Hoven, located inside the Educational Centre at Mulderskamp 164a, Zutphen. Our integrated child centre combines primary education, day-care and after-school care under one roof. We pick up children from the age of 4 directly from Jenaplanschool De Hoven – sometimes without even leaving the building – and from other nearby schools, making the transition from school to after-school care smooth and familiar.
Our programme centres on fun, movement and relaxation after a busy school day. Children decide for themselves whether to run around in our large green garden, get creative in the art studio or simply unwind with a book or board game. Each week we offer new workshops ranging from sports & games to crafts and themed projects. During holidays and study days we provide full-day care with even more challenging activities and a warm lunch.
Our qualified pedagogical staff give every child personal attention and guidance. Through the trusted Partou app, parents can follow their child’s experiences with photos and messages. Together we make every afternoon a celebration.

The annual inspection by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland on 27 August 2026 shows that after-school care (BSO) Partou De Hoven in Zutphen meets all assessed requirements. The after-school care (BSO), located in the Educatief Centrum in the De Hoven neighborhood, provides places for 30 children aged 4-13. The pedagogical practice was positively assessed: staff provide emotional security, encourage independence and personal competence, support social interactions, and convey norms and values. Children are approached respectfully at eye level and involved in daily activities. Personnel matters are also fully in order: the present staff member holds the required qualification and Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and is correctly registered in the LRK. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The provider Smallsteps B.V. acknowledges the findings and commits to continuing to safeguard quality.
