About this care
Welcome to Daycare Catootje, located at Kerkweg 1a in the heart of Wognum. We offer small-scale childcare for children from 0 to 4 years in a relaxed, safe and homely atmosphere. Our location features a spacious outdoor area of over 700 m² with a meadow with dwarf goats, chickens, rabbits and birds, a large sandpit, a play hill with climbing equipment and an apple orchard. After an extensive renovation in 2016, the building became energy-neutral with solar panels, a heat pump and high-quality insulation.
We are open Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the option to extend until 7:00 PM including a warm meal. We are open 52 weeks a year, only closed on official holidays. Care includes lunch, fruit, snacks and diapers. Only infant formula needs to be provided by parents.
The daycare has multiple light group rooms, a separate quiet room for the youngest children and a toddler room where children can choose materials themselves. There is a separate outdoor area where the youngest can crawl around safely. We work with a permanent team of professional, enthusiastic and committed pedagogical staff.
