Welcome to Bumme Daycare, located at Overboslaan 28-A in leafy Heemstede. Our characterful building, set within spacious baby and toddler gardens, provides a safe and homely environment for up to 81 children aged 0 to 4. Summary
GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 2 June 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Bumme in Heemstede. The location provides care for 81 children aged 0-4 years and meets most quality requirements, including pedagogical practice, staff qualifications, and care stability. However, two violations were identified. The pedagogical policy insufficiently described core groups and basic schedules in concrete terms; this violation was resolved following a recovery offer. The safety and health policy remained insufficient on multiple points: hand hygiene, food safety, and safe sleeping. Despite a sustainable recovery offer and measures taken, structural recovery cannot yet be established.
