BSO Koraal in Vlissingen is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Walcheren and provides care for up to 32 children. During the annual inspection on 25 September 2025, it was found that the location meets all quality requirements, following a recovery offer (herstelaanbod). There was a shortcoming in the pedagogical policy: the policy plan did not correctly describe at which times fewer qualified staff members (beroepskrachten) are deployed than required. After the work plan was amended on 27 October 2025, the location now complies with the requirements. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff members respond sensitively and stimulate children's development in social, emotional and cognitive areas. No shortcomings were found regarding staff and groups either. All staff members are correctly registered and meet the qualification requirements. There is sufficient coaching and policy support in place. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement measures.
