BSO De Kanjers is located inside primary school ’t Mozaïek at Fazantenkamp 157 in Maarssenbroek. As part of Kind & Co Ludens we provide after-school care for 30 children aged 4–12. Our qualified staff pick children up after school from ’t Mozaïek and other local primary schools. The afternoon starts with a quiet moment including fruit and drinks, followed by a free choice of sports, nature and music activities or free play in our large outdoor area. During school holidays we run a varied activity programme with warm lunches, giving children the chance to meet peers and take on new challenges. After-school care (BSO) De Kanjers in Maarssen, part of Stichting Kind&Co Ludens and located in primary school 't Mozaïek, was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region on 2 July 2026. The location accommodates a maximum of 44 children (ages 4-12) in two groups. The pedagogical climate and staff and groups meet requirements directly. Safety and health, and accommodation meet requirements after recovery offer. Two violations were identified in the area of safety and health: unsafe use of garden tools without supervision and hygiene at mealtimes without plates. The outdoor space (vegetable garden) was also unsafe due to overgrowth and loose tiles. All three violations have been resolved through recovery offers with action plans. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
