BSO Kameleon Maarssen is located inside De Kameleon primary school at Duivenkamp 549 in Maarssen. We provide professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a cosy, homely atmosphere where children can unwind after a busy school day. The location accommodates up to 22 children and remains open until 18:30. We cooperate closely with the school and make use of both the school building and the large playground, giving children plenty of space to run, play and enjoy creative activities under supervision. BSO Kameleon Maarssen is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4–8, located in primary school De Kameleon. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 29 April 2025. Areas assessed were the pedagogical climate and staff/groups. The location operates according to a clear pedagogical policy with fixed mentors, ample freedom of choice for children, and a varied activity program. All staff hold the required diplomas, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) declarations, and are properly registered; coaching takes place on a structural basis. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
