About this care
Welcome to ZON!dermeer, our after-school care location at Sportpark De Hoge Bomen 4 in Naaldwijk. We are part of Kinderopvang ZON!, an organization that provides extraordinary childcare with children at the center. Our location can accommodate up to 66 children aged 4 to 13 years for before and after-school care.
Our location at a sports park gives us the unique opportunity to offer many sports activities. Children can relax here, play outside, get dirty in the mud, and dance in the rain. We pay full attention to everything that occupies children and believe that children can learn everything they need by following their curiosity.
Our ZON! educators act as guides and helpers in the children's learning process. We create an environment where children can relax, discover, and grow after school. Our approach is based on independence - "Teach me to do it myself." We don't think in boxes or frameworks, but prefer to color outside the lines and are always looking for new adventures.
We pick up children from school by cargo bike, children can cycle along themselves and/or walk along. This makes the transition from school to after-school care an adventure in itself. At ZON!dermeer, fun, discovery, and development are central in a safe and challenging environment.Read more

- The indoor space of approximately 94 m² is insufficient for 66 registered childcare places (minimum 231 m² required) and also insufficient for the maximum of 60 children present per day (minimum 210 m² required). Suitable for a maximum of 26 children. Violation of Article 1.50 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Childcare Act and Article 19 paragraph 2 of the Childcare Quality Decree.
Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the temporary location of after-school care (BSO) ZON!dermeer in Naaldwijk on 20 May 2026 due to a planned relocation for construction work. The after-school care (BSO) wanted to temporarily move to the clubhouse of handball club Westlandia from 1 to 19 June 2026. The personnel file and safety policy were assessed positively. The outdoor space more than meets the requirements. A serious problem is the indoor space: at approximately 94 m², it is suitable for a maximum of 26 children, while 66 childcare places are registered and up to 60 children attend per day. This is a violation of the legal requirement of 3.5 m² per child. In their response, the provider stated that the children will spend a lot of time outdoors and that this is for a short period.
