BSO Zeelandia in Middelburg, part of Kinderopvang Gloed, was inspected by GGD Zeeland (Municipal Health Service Zeeland) on 29 September 2025. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 22 children aged 7 to 13 years in the building of football club Zeelandia. All assessed domains meet statutory requirements: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice is assessed positively: staff respond sensitively and responsively, provide structure and stimulate children's development. There are several practical strengths, such as the use of walkie-talkies for communication during outdoor play and the varied range of activities. A note was made regarding the accommodation: part of the space was in use by another party during inspection until 15:45, meaning the surface area may have been temporarily insufficient for the registered number of childcare places. The provider has been informed of this. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
