GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 14 April 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Villa Centaurs in Amsterdam. The BSO, part of Stichting Swaan, provides care for 38 children aged 8 to 12, three days per week at the premises of the 5e Montessorischool. All inspected quality requirements are being met. The pedagogical practice is assessed positively: children are given plenty of room for independence and risky play, such as tree climbing and working with real materials. Staff supervise responsibly and encourage self-reliance. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The inspector advises that the report be taken note of.
