Summary
Thuishuis Kippetje Tok in Veendam is an after-school care (BSO) facility for up to 24 children, located in an outbuilding of the church. The annual inspection by GGD Groningen shows that the location generally functions well. The pedagogical practice is strong: children are cared for in an emotionally safe environment, are given structure, and are involved in activities. There was one violation: the description of working methods in the core groups was incomplete, particularly regarding the combination with the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). This has been resolved following a recovery offer. All other areas (staff, safety, accommodation, parental rights) comply with the law.
