About this care
BSO SAAM UNA is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Sportlaan 3 in the centre of Veldhoven. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 13. Our motto is simple: Outdoor & Exercise – Sports & Games – Meeting & Relaxing. After a full day at school, we want children to be able to let off steam physically, make new friends and shape their own ideas.
Our setting is surrounded by greenery, making outdoor play the norm while indoor play is always an option. We operate from an informal culture where personal attention is key. Owners Mireille Bleeker and Trudy Stoeldraaiers combine years of pedagogical experience with innovative ideas. Their flexible attitude means we always think in terms of solutions: if it’s possible, our answer is YES.

Summary
BSO SAAM is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) in Veldhoven, located in the sports canteen of sports club UNA. The location accommodates up to 30 children aged 4 to 13 years and focuses on sports and outdoor play. During the annual unannounced inspection on 30 July 2026, it was found that the provider meets all assessed quality requirements under the Childcare Act. The examined areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health were all rated positively. The pedagogical policy is current and practice aligns with it. All staff hold the required diplomas, Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), and language proficiency. The safety and health policy is comprehensive and current, including a domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
