About this care
De Kuier is an after-school care facility located at Aristoteleslaan 135 in Huizen. Our BSO provides care for a maximum of 22 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since July 8, 2020, under number 546169193.
We are located on the grounds of RK Basisschool de Springplank, giving us a central location in the Fourth Quadrant of Huizen. This proximity to the school makes it easy for children and parents to come directly to after-school care.
Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. We offer before-school care on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) De Kuier in Huizen on 23 February 2026. The inspection took place following a request to expand from 22 to 26 childcare places. The location is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Huizen and is housed in primary school De Springplank. The inspector assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. The location meets statutory requirements in all areas. The pedagogical policy and safety policy have been updated for the new situation. There is sufficient indoor space (164 m²) and outdoor space (1388 m²). The group will remain one core group of up to 30 children. No violations or areas for improvement were identified during this inspection.
