About this care
BSO Polderpret Nieuwkoop is located in the school complex at Ladderhaak 3 in Nieuwkoop. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. As one of the main sites of Kinderdagverblijf Polderpret, we can accommodate up to 110 children.
We run several types of after-school groups: in addition to regular age-based groups, we offer a Sport BSO and a Discover & Do BSO. The Sport BSO focuses on sports and physical activities, while the Discover & Do BSO lets children explore nature and their surroundings. Children largely shape the activity programme themselves; we tailor our offer to their interests and developmental stage.
Our qualified pedagogical staff create a cosy, homely atmosphere centred on fun, personal initiative and learning through play. Younger children enjoy play corners, whereas older children work on independence and longer-term projects.
The BSO is open from 14.30 to 18.30; on Wednesdays and Fridays we start at 12.15. During school holidays and study days we provide care from 8.00 to 18.30 (7.30 on request). Registration is via our online form; we recommend applying at least one year in advance.Read more

BSO Polderpret Nieuwkoop is an after-school care (BSO) for 110 children aged 4-12, located in the Buytewech school complex. The inspection took place on 12 August 2025. The pedagogical climate and the safety and health policy meet the legal requirements. There is a warm welcome, good parent communication, challenging activities and a clear mentor system. The children receive appropriate guidance and there is sufficient qualified staff present. One shortcoming was identified: a new staff member does not yet have the required proof of the IKK language requirement. No violations or safety risks were found. The municipality is advised to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
