About this care
Welcome to Partou BSO Zwarteweg 74, located on the green playground of primary school de Ichthus in the Schelle district of Zwolle. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 7. Our location has two welcoming groups where children quickly feel at home. We work closely with primary schools de Ichthus, de Octopus and the Montessori school. Dutch is the language spoken at our BSO.
Sports and physical activity are central to our approach. Children can play to their heart’s content in our garden, the nearby Damhertveld or at the Schellerhoeve neighbourhood farm. We regularly take trips to the park, library or go shopping together to cook. We are also open during school holidays and study days from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. We follow a fixed daily routine with a check-in moment after school, offering both free play and age-appropriate activities.
Our pedagogical staff guide children step by step towards greater independence. Each child has a dedicated mentor who is the contact point for parents. We communicate through the Partou parent app and organise parent committee meetings. Partou BSO Zwarteweg 74 in Zwolle provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 60 children aged 4 to 7 years in two base groups, housed in primary school De Ichthus. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 20 November 2025. All assessed quality requirements within the domains of 'pedagogical climate' and 'staff and groups' are fully complied with. The pedagogical policy is complete and consistently implemented in practice; children experience emotional safety, are offered developmentally appropriate activities and are positively guided in social interactions. All staff hold valid Certificates of Conduct (VOG), correct registration in the PRK, required professional qualifications and meet the IKK language requirement. The pedagogical policy officer/coach is allocated sufficient hours and coached all staff members in 2024. No shortcomings, violations or recovery actions were identified; no deficiencies have been found in the past three years either.
