About this care
Welcome to Partou Carrousel! Our daycare center is located in a quiet, pleasant area in Almelo, in the Windmolenbroek district. We have a very large garden that invites children to play outside every day. In the sandbox they bake pies, race bikes on the square, or splash around with water in our water track. Indoors there is just as much to discover: every corner offers something new, so play and learning never stop.
We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience, such as 'spring' or 'wild animals'. This way toddlers and preschoolers learn about the world around them through play. Our enthusiastic team is ready with new ideas to stimulate and guide children in their development.
For toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years we offer toddler care. This can be in the form of half-days (morning 9:00 – 13:00) if you are not entitled to childcare allowance or if your child has a VVE indication. Are you entitled to childcare allowance and do not have a VVE indication? Then we offer full days of regular childcare from 7:00 to 18:00.

Summary
GGD Twente conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO De Carrousel in Almelo on 19 June 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of Smallsteps/Partou B.V., accommodates 80 children. The inspection assessed pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. All assessed requirements are met. The pedagogical practice shows positive interactions between staff and children, with attention to emotional safety and social skills. Staff hold the appropriate qualifications and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) declarations, and the staff-to-child ratio was correct (2 staff members for 21 children). No violations or areas for improvement were identified.

Fijne opvang locatie met hele bevlogen medewerkers die goed aanvoelen wat de kinderen nodig hebben
Zeer slechte ervaring. De medewerkers zijn onvriendelijk en geven weinig aandacht aan de kinderen. Ik zou dit kinderdagopvang niemand aanraden.
