About this care
BSO de Bôge is located in the talent room of primary school De Bôge at Engbert Pierswei 2 in Hemrik. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. After school, the children come together in a relaxed atmosphere. We always start with a shared snack and drink moment where they can share their experiences of the day.
Afterwards, the children choose what they want to do. They can play outside, be creative or play inside with the extensive range of play and creative materials suitable for different ages. Our pedagogical staff guide the activities and think along with the children. There is always something to do and we regularly organize fun activities. GGD Fryslân conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO de Bôge in Hemrik on 19 February 2026. This after-school care (BSO), part of Kinderopvang Esther BV, accommodates up to 30 children aged 4 to 13. The inspection showed that the location meets all assessed statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical climate, staffing, safety and health, and parental rights were all assessed positively. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Opsterland not to take enforcement measures.
