About this care
Welcome to BSO Vrijburglaan, a Les Petits location in Overveen. Our after-school care is situated between KWS and Julianaschool and provides care for 25 children aged 4 to 12. We operate two groups: Kleine Ster and Gele Maan. Each day, three pedagogical staff members are ready to care for your child.
We believe children should be able to play and relax after school. Our group space is cozily furnished and we spend plenty of time outdoors. Sports and playing on the field are part of our routine. We learn about life by experiencing and exploring, always under professional and loving guidance.
On Wednesdays and Fridays, when fewer children attend, we combine with our BSO locations at Josephschool and KWS. This allows children to meet more friends and creates an even more enjoyable atmosphere.
During holidays, children attend full days. We take advantage of our surroundings: the forest and Kennemer dunes are nearby and with our bus we can quickly reach the beach. Each holiday program is created with input from the children, as we value child participation highly.
We also regularly offer Discover! workshops. Children can explore different sports and hobbies like judo, yoga or science. This helps them discover their talents and interests.Read more

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 17 November 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Les Petits Vrijburglaan in Overveen. The location provides care for a maximum of 20 children aged 4-5 years on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. All assessed quality requirements were met: the pedagogical policy is implemented as described, pedagogical practice provides sufficient emotional security and developmental stimulation, all staff hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are properly registered, the reporting code for domestic violence is actively embedded in the team, and parents are well informed through the portal, website, and conversations. There is an active joint parent committee that is satisfied with the care and their role in co-determination. No violations or complaints were identified. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
