This inspection report concerns a post-registration investigation of after-school care (BSO) Klein Duimpje naschools in Schoondijke, part of Kinderopvang Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates a maximum of 26 children aged 4 to 13 years, located in MFC Schoondijke. The inspection was carried out on 12 February 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Zeeland on behalf of the municipality of Sluis. All inspected quality requirements were met: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical climate was assessed positively: staff respond sensitively and responsively, respect children's autonomy and provide structure. A safety and health policy is in place. However, one risk was identified: the outside door to the indoor space slams shut hard, which could be dangerous for children taking off their shoes there. It was agreed with the location manager that a solution will be provided (doorstop or hook). This point was also raised with the manager. There is no recovery offer (herstelaanbod) or violation; the location meets all requirements. The advice to the Municipal Executive (College van B&W) is: no enforcement action.
