About this care
Kinderopvang Nietje Pietje is a small-scale and welcoming childcare facility located in Amsterdam Zuidoost at Kikkenstein 915. We offer both daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 years at one single location. Our BSO currently has space for 11 children, allowing us to provide personal attention and a homely atmosphere.
Our after-school care is specifically designed for primary school children who need rest, play and guidance after school. We pick up the children from school and provide them with a familiar environment where they can relax, play and share their experiences of the day. Due to our small scale, we know each child well and can respond to individual needs.
We operate from one location, creating a nice continuous line for children who start with us at the daycare and later transition to our after-school care. This gives children and parents a familiar feeling and makes the transition to BSO smooth and comfortable.

Summary
Kinderopvang Nietje Pietje (BSO), an after-school care (BSO) in Amsterdam Zuidoost, was inspected on 25 November 2025. The after-school care meets all inspected quality requirements. The location has a maximum of 11 childcare places and is operated by a sole proprietorship with two branches. Following severe water damage in September 2025 caused by a burst pipe, the after-school care temporarily relocated to the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) premises. The owner and staff provide responsible care despite the temporary circumstances. The pedagogical climate is positive: staff provide emotional security, stimulate skill development and guide social interaction. All staff members hold a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) and are registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK).
