Summary

The annual inspection by GGD Twente on 25 June 2026 shows that BSO Kindcentrum Montessori in Almelo meets all assessed legal requirements. The after-school care (BSO), part of Stichting Kinderopvang Varietas, accommodates up to 39 children aged 4 to 12 years in two rooms at the Montessori school. The pedagogical practice scores well on emotional safety, respectful interaction, individual attention and structure. Staff flexibly adapt activities, such as during extreme heat. The administration, staff qualifications, staff-to-child ratio, safety and health policy, accommodation and parent information are all in order. There is no parent committee due to the low number of children, but the provider has made sufficient effort and involves parents through the school's participation council.
