Summary

This follow-up inspection on 7 January 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Kindcentrum De Boomladder in Heerhugowaard focused on a previously identified shortcoming regarding the parent committee. During the annual inspection in September 2025, it was found that no parent committee had been established, while the location cares for more than 50 children. The municipality of Dijk en Waard issued a formal notice with a recovery deadline. At this follow-up inspection, the shortcoming has been resolved: a combined parent committee has now been formed with 3 members from the daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and 3 members from the after-school care (BSO). The location now complies with all assessed conditions.
