- The safety and health policy did not contain a concrete description of the risk of children playing barefoot in public playgrounds during outings. During the inspection visit, multiple children were playing barefoot in a public playground, which was not corrected by staff. This risk was missing from the policy.
Summary
GGD Hollands Noorden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 7 July 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Poolster in Heerhugowaard, part of Stichting Allente opvang. The location provides care for 24 children aged 4 to 13 years. Initially, violations were identified in the area of safety and health policy, after which a recovery offer was issued. After recovery, all requirements have been met. Other areas such as pedagogical climate, staff, and parental rights were compliant from the outset. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
