Welcome to Kids2b BSO Bedum, located at De Vlijt 18 in the heart of Bedum. We are part of Stichting Kids2b, the childcare organization that has been serving North Groningen for over 25 years. After a busy day at school, your child has come to the right place for the best after-school time.
At our place, your child decides what to do. Feel like cycling on our traffic square or building in our carpentry shed? Anything is possible! Our spacious, playfully designed garden with outdoor playhouses invites exploration and play. And if your child prefers a quiet moment, we offer a cozy corner to relax with a book.
For our 4-year-old after-school care children, we have a separate location on Tuesdays at Burchtstraat 2 in Bedum. Here they can unwind from a busy school day or go on adventures together with peers.
We believe in responsible growing up. That's why our pedagogical staff pay daily attention to our focus areas: nutrition & exercise, language, and being outdoors. Strengths

Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Groningen of BSO Kids2b Bedum took place on 4 March 2026. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 70 children in three age groups. Overall, the care provision meets the legal quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate, personnel policy (VOG and persons register), and safety and health policy were found to be in order. There was one violation regarding the number of qualified staff: one staff member lacked the correct qualification. This was subsequently resolved following a recovery offer. There is also a structural issue with the parent committee: despite repeated efforts by the organisation, there has been insufficient interest among parents to participate. Because more than 50 children are cared for, the obligation remains. The operator has now found several interested parents for a combined parent committee.
