About this care
BSO "de Lolifantjes" at Jacob van Maerlantstraat 100 in Almere provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We are open 50 weeks a year and pride ourselves on offering a warm, homely atmosphere where every child feels safe and welcome. Our pedagogical staff β all minimally qualified at level 3, certified in first aid and emergency response, and holding a recent Certificate of Good Conduct β give personal attention and guide the children with love and professionalism.
We believe it is important that children can develop at their own pace. Therefore, we create an environment in which they can gain their own experiences and learn about fundamental human values such as honesty, kindness, generosity, courage, freedom, equality and respect. We work closely with parents to ensure a consistent pedagogical approach and to guide the child optimally.
Healthy nutrition is a priority for us. Every day we cook fresh and healthy meals, taking halal and vegetarian wishes into account. Special diets and religious dietary requirements are of course respected. The location itself is carefully furnished: colourful, warm and cosy, so that children immediately feel at home.
After school, children can relax, play, do crafts or take part in fun activities with us. During holidays and study days we are open from 07:00 and offer a varied programme. BSO "de Lolifantjes" is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under LRK number 249187486 and meets all legal quality requirements.Read more
