About this care
BSO “de Lolifantjes” is located at Prozastraat 121 in Almere and provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We are open 50 weeks a year, including holidays and study days, from 07:00 to 19:00. Our setting is small-scale and homely, with a maximum of 20 places, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve.
Our vision centres on after-school care being enjoyable and pleasant. Children are welcomed into a warm, safe environment where there is room for both relaxation and development. Our pedagogical staff work with fixed groups and know every child personally. We focus on values such as honesty, kindness, generosity, courage, freedom, equality and respect, encouraging children above all to be themselves.
We offer a reliable space where children can play, do crafts, romp outside and take part in activities together. Our garden invites sports and games; when the weather is nice we spend a lot of time outdoors. During school weeks we pick up and drop off children from various primary schools in the area. In the holidays we provide a varied programme with outings and creative projects.

Summary
This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report concerns a follow-up inspection conducted on 14 September 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Lolifantjes in Almere. This inspection followed an annual inspection on 2 February 2026 in which violations were identified across five domains. During this unannounced follow-up inspection, it was found that all violations have been satisfactorily resolved. The pedagogical practice has improved, staff are correctly registered in the PRK, the mentor structure is in order, safety protocols are being followed, and the accommodation meets the requirements. Parent information and efforts to establish a parent committee have also improved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
