About this care
Welcome to BSO IKC Cadans Weesp, part of the Integral Child Centre located at Papelaan 99 in Weesp. We provide after-school care for up to 170 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 September 2023 under number 310156178 and is supervised by the GGD Amsterdam.
Our extensive activity programme is tailored to the age and interests of each child. We organise sports and games, swimming lessons, skiing lessons, creative workshops and exciting excursions. During school holidays we run a summer camp full of adventure and fun. Everything is focused on discovery, learning and playing together.
As an IKC we work closely with the primary school in the same building. This means that after school children can walk straight to a familiar place where they are cared for by our certified pedagogical staff. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Our location has a spacious garden and playground where children can play to their heart's content.

Strengths

Summary
GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced incidental inspection on 5 January 2026 at BSO IKC Cadans Weesp. The inspection assessed whether the after-school care (BSO) could expand from 220 to 270 places by increasing group sizes from 25 to 30 children per base group. The location is temporarily housed in Weesp and will eventually relocate to Weespersluis. The care is fully integrated with education and uses the Noordwijkse Methode. The team consists of 7 permanent professionals, 2 trainees, and 8 self-employed contractors (zzp'ers). The accommodation has sufficient space (1,075 m² indoor, 981 m² outdoor). GGD concludes that the expansion can reasonably proceed in accordance with the quality requirements.
