About this care
BSO Het Letterveld is located right inside primary school Het Letterveld at Hedeveld 1 in Almelo. The moment the school day ends, children simply walk into the after-school area where they are welcomed by familiar faces and a warm, home-like atmosphere. Our rooms are cosily furnished with plenty of challenging play materials and we make maximum use of the outdoor space around the Kindcentrum Sluitersveld.
Children are at the heart of everything we do. We involve them in planning activities, so one afternoon they might choose a sports game in the neighbourhood and the next a creative craft or science experiment. We regularly team up with Sportbedrijf Almelo, Kaliber Kunstenschool and Mad Science to keep the programme fresh and inspiring.
Our qualified staff are on site Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We stay open during school holidays and study days, giving parents the flexibility they need. Children aged 4 to 12 are placed in mixed-age groups, encouraging them to learn from and help one another as they grow into confident, socially skilled and balanced individuals.Read more
