Summary
The inspection report of 20 November 2025 concerns an unannounced investigation following registration for after-school care (BSO) Het Kom pas in Nieuwleusen, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Catent. The location offers 24 childcare places for children aged 4-13. All assessed areas comply with the Childcare Act: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice shows strong points: personal welcome greeting for parents and children, freedom of choice for children in activities, active involvement in tidying up, and clear guidance in group agreements. The accommodation at primary school Het Kom pas more than meets the requirements with 121.7 m² of indoor play space and a safe school playground. Telephone back-up coverage is arranged when one staff member is on duty. The holder has until 2026 to fully implement the coaching by the pedagogical policy staff member; this will only be assessed at the next inspection in 2027.
