Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 11 November 2025 for after-school care (BSO) De Wegwijzer in Nieuwleusen shows a predominantly positive picture. The after-school care, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Catent, accommodates 39 children aged 4-13. In almost all examined areas, the location complies with legislation and regulations: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice is specifically valued: staff act sensitively and responsively, children are challenged in their development and there is attention to social competence and norms and values. In safety and health, there were two shortcomings: the staff member had insufficient knowledge of the reporting code and was not familiar with the confidential inspector and the duty to report, consult and file (MOA). Both violations have been resolved through a recovery offer that was completed on 18 December 2025. The accommodation more than meets requirements with 139.46 m² of indoor play space and a well-equipped outdoor play area. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
