About this care
Located in the heart of Tilburg’s De Blaak district, BSO Grebbe is part of the sustainable Kindcentrum Grebbe – a unique building packed with challenges for children aged 4 to 12. Our out-of-school care welcomes up to 184 children and works closely with primary schools De Borne and De Blaak, making the transition from school to after-school care seamless.
The afternoon at BSO Grebbe starts calmly. We share fruit and crackers and chat about the school day. Then it’s up to you: play outside in our nature garden or discovery garden, get creative in our art studio, cook in the kitchen, or join today’s BOOST activity. Together with our BOOST specialist you can carry out chemistry experiments in our science lab – just put on your white coat and safety goggles first. If you’d rather curl up with a book, our chill corner feels just like home.
Our building is purpose-built for children. Alongside the science lab we have a music room, a movement hall and a nature garden. Everything is constructed from sustainable materials and the roof is covered with solar panels. We teach children to treat the world around them with care.
During school holidays we run a special holiday programme with fun trips and activities. We keep parents updated throughout the day via our parent app and invite them to join in on special occasions. Every child is welcome at BSO Grebbe, because every child is unique and free to be themselves.Read more
