About this care
BSO Goejanverwelle is part of Kindcentrum Goejanverwelle located at Chopinstraat 10 in Gouda. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. As part of Quadrant Kindercentra, a non-profit social organization, we fully invest in the development of children and our staff.
Our after-school care is designed to let children enjoy their free time in a fun and relaxed way. Together with the children, we organize enjoyable, challenging and varied activities. Every day is different and with us, after-school time equals free time! We believe it's important that children feel safe, which is why we work from our core values: safety, respect and space.
Sustainability is high on our agenda. The children help with waste separation and we ensure the most sustainable housing and furnishings possible. We use sustainable materials and integrate sustainability into our activities.
Parents stay involved through our Parent app. Here we share daily photos and messages about your child's activities, so you stay informed of all the fun moments.

Summary
BSO Goejanverwelle in Gouda provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 70 children aged 4 years to primary school age. The annual inspection on 2 October 2025 shows that the care meets legal requirements on virtually all quality aspects. The pedagogical practice appears positive: a relaxed atmosphere prevails, children are actively involved and the spaces are richly furnished with reading corners, arts and crafts and construction materials, a theatre and make-up corner and an air hockey table, enabling children to develop their personal and social competencies. All staff members hold the correct diplomas and Certificates of Conduct (VOG), the occupancy ratio is in order and the safety and health policy is properly adhered to. There is one violation: the legally required parent committee has not yet been established; parents are currently being consulted via the parent portal. The holder acknowledges the shortcoming and intends to reduce the number of registered places to 50 so that a parent committee will no longer be mandatory from 2026. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
