About this care
BSO Glimmen IKC Quintus is an after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12 in Glimmen. We are part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) Quintus, where education and childcare seamlessly connect. Our BSO is located in the school building at Nieuwe Schoolweg 6 in Glimmen, allowing children to transition directly to a familiar environment after school.
We provide care after school hours and during holidays. Playing together is central to our approach. We work intensively with the primary school within the IKC, creating a continuous line for children aged 4 to 12. The collaboration with Kids First ensures one team for education and childcare, with an integral vision for your child's development.

The inspection of 27 October 2025 concludes that the location meets the statutory quality requirements across all three assessed areas (pedagogical climate, staff and groups, parental rights). The pedagogical policy is current and actively followed; all staff hold valid Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), appropriate qualifications, and meet the language requirement. The qualified staff-to-child ratio is always adequate, each child has a mentor, and parents are well informed through the website, newsletters, and an active combined parent committee. No shortcomings or violations were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
