Summary

This inspection report concerns BSO Westerholm in Haren, an after-school care (BSO) with 14 childcare places operated by Stichting Kinderopvang Haren. The inspection took place on 24 June 2026 (with a supplementary visit on 16 July 2026) as a pre-registration investigation. The location uses a shared space in the Westerholm apartment complex, which is used by the BSO in the afternoons and by Cosis in the mornings. At the first visit on 24 June, the group room was not yet appropriately furnished, but at the second visit on 16 July, both the indoor space (55 m²) and outdoor space (grass field) met the requirements. All investigated quality requirements were ultimately assessed as sufficient: registration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
