About this care
BSO de Vlinderboom Amsterdam West is located inside the Free School Amsterdam West at Eerste Nassaustraat 7. We provide after-school care inspired by Waldorf/anthroposophical education. Our spaces feel warm and familiar, so children immediately sense they are in a safe second home.
Our pedagogy follows the principles of Rudolf Steiner. Calm, rhythm and repetition are key; children experience security and are given space to develop at their own pace. We work with steady daily rhythms that match the child’s world of experience.
The after-school programme is open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:30. During school holidays we welcome children from 08:00 to 18:30. We can accommodate up to 61 children and are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 257433697.
