BSO de Strandloper in De Koog, part of Kinderopvang Texel, was inspected on 20 February 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden. This was an unannounced inspection following registration. The after-school care (BSO) location provides care for 16 children aged 4 to 13. All assessed requirements have been met. The pedagogical practice shows positive examples: children are greeted individually, there are clear rituals and agreements about play materials. The accommodation more than meets requirements with 58 m² of indoor and 2000 m² of outdoor play space. Staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG). No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The holder must, however, submit a change request for a name change to 'BSO de Strandlopers'.
