At Skar, we believe children thrive best in a warm and welcoming environment. With more than 60 locations in Arnhem and surrounding municipalities, we provide childcare for children from 0 to 13 years old. Our daycare is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4, while our after-school care (BSO) is suitable for children from 4 to 13 years.

Our pedagogical approach focuses on encouraging independence and initiative. At Skar, children are allowed to fall and get back up, laugh together, and most importantly, colour outside the lines.

Summary
BSO de Paddenstoel in Driel provides small-scale after-school care (BSO) for up to 20 children aged 4–6. The inspection on 16 September 2025 concludes that the location meets almost all quality requirements. There is a safe and warm pedagogical climate, sufficient qualified staff, a spacious and challenging accommodation with its own outdoor area, and an active parent committee. One violation was identified: two staff members were missing from the childcare personnel register. Immediately after the inspection visit, they were subsequently registered, thereby resolving the violation. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action and to increase capacity to 21 places.
