About this care
BSO De Morgenster is part of Kindcentrum De Morgenster located at Glorie van Holland 28 in Geldermalsen. In close collaboration with the school, KaKa childcare provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The location accommodates up to 33 children and has been operational since August 21, 2023.
The after-school care is situated on the ground floor of the child center with its own entrance. Children are picked up from their classroom after school and guided to the BSO space. The area is bright and spacious, offering plenty of opportunities to play, relax, or do homework. The outdoor area provides a safe playground with play equipment and seating.
Our pedagogical staff work according to KaKa childcare's vision: children are given space to be themselves and develop at their own pace. We offer a warm and safe environment where fun and personal attention are central. During school weeks, the BSO is open from 14:15 to 18:30. During school holidays, we provide care from 7:30 to 18:30.

Summary
BSO De Morgenster in Geldermalsen provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children in two base groups, located at primary school De Morgenster. On 10 June 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection. The childcare center meets all assessed quality requirements. Key strengths include a clear pedagogical policy, stable and committed staff who provide children with emotional security, a varied range of activities, and good guidance during social interactions. All staff hold the appropriate qualifications, a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and are correctly registered. No violations were identified. No areas for improvement were noted. No recovery offer is required. The municipality of West Betuwe was advised not to take enforcement action.
