Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report dated 20 May 2026 concerns a further investigation at after-school care (BSO) De Loft in Sittard, carried out by GGD Zuid-Limburg on behalf of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. The investigation focused exclusively on the previously identified shortcomings from 23 March 2026. The location, part of Stichting MIK & Spelenderwijs Kindontwikkeling, provides care for a maximum of 40 children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups. This further investigation found that the provider now meets the assessed conditions for staff and groups: the required persons are correctly registered in the childcare persons register and linked to the provider. The previous shortcoming regarding certificates of conduct (verklaringen omtrent het gedrag/VOG) and the persons register has thus been resolved. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified.
