About this care
BSO De Koebel is located on our farm at Zuiderweg 2 in Assendelft. We provide after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Our educational vision is simple yet effective: plenty of outdoor movement and hands-on experiences in nature and with animals. Children are given the space—literally and figuratively—to be themselves and to learn at their own pace.
Our pedagogical staff approach every child in a positive, individual and respectful way. The farm setting offers endless opportunities to play, explore and learn: caring for animals, gardening, running through the fields or simply enjoying the outdoors. We create a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop to their full potential.
We use horizontal groups so that activities match the age and developmental stage of the children. During school weeks and holidays we offer a varied programme, always centred on nature and animals. Fruit, bread, drinks and snacks are included in the price.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) De Koebel in Assendelft on 19 January 2026. The after-school care, located on a farm with 24 places for children aged 4 to 12, meets all assessed quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is characterised by respectful, sensitive guidance in which children experience emotional security and are playfully challenged.
