About this care
De Kienehoef BSO is part of De Verbinding and is located at Sportpark De Kienehoef, Bremhorst 2a in Sint-Oedenrode. We provide after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12. Our location is unique: situated right next to a recreational park with plenty of space for sports and play, making our BSO especially suitable for children who love being active and outdoors.
Our qualified staff are ready every school day to welcome children after school. We operate two clear time blocks: before-school care (VSO) from 07:30 to 08:30 and after-school care (NSO) from 14:30 to 18:00. During school holidays and study days, we're open from 07:30 to 18:00, so parents can always rely on us.
Sports and play are central to our program. Children can enjoy the sports facilities, use the playground equipment in the adjacent recreational park, and participate in organized sports activities. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can relax after a day at school while also discovering new things and making friends.
We have excellent cooperation with Kienehoef primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We mainly welcome children living in Kienehoef or the Kinderbos neighborhoods, but children from other schools are also warmly welcomed.Read more

Summary
After-school care (BSO) De Kienehoef in Sint-Oedenrode, part of De Verbinding B.V., was inspected by GGD Hart voor Brabant on 12 January 2026. The location provides care for 20 children aged 4 to 7 years in the clubhouse of tennis club De Kienehoef. All assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health have been met. The pedagogical practice is characterized by a calm, predictable atmosphere in which children feel emotionally safe and are stimulated in their development. The staff-to-child ratio is correct, and sufficiently qualified personnel are present. However, one area for improvement was identified regarding the sandbox in the outdoor area: it is not covered and the sand has not been replaced since April 2024. The provider has anticipated this by requesting a quote for replacement and including a concrete timeframe for periodic replacement in the policy. No violations have been established.
