Summary

After-school care (BSO) De Groene Long in Sint-Oedenrode, part of De Verbinding B.V., was inspected by GGD Hart voor Brabant on 9 February 2026. The unannounced inspection concerned a post-registration investigation commissioned by the municipality of Meierijstad. The location provides care for 30 children aged 4 to 12 years in two base groups. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice demonstrates sensitive and responsive conduct, in which children are encouraged in their autonomy and social competencies. A minor deviation was identified between the safety policy and practice regarding the collection of children from primary school Springplank, but this did not result in an unsafe situation. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
