GGD Hollands Noorden conducted a registration inspection on 4 June 2026 at BSO de Baskuul in Lutjebroek, a new after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children (ages 4-13) operated by Kappio. The location shares a space with toddler daycare Peuterhorn at different times and also uses the school hall. All assessed conditions have been met: registration, administration, pedagogical policy, staff qualifications, VOG/PRK, health and safety policy, domestic violence reporting protocol, accommodation (sufficient indoor and outdoor space), and parental rights. The pedagogical practice and several practical aspects could not yet be assessed as the location is not yet operational; this will follow during a subsequent inspection. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
