DANS Kinderopvang - Locatie Twinkel (BSO) in Doetinchem was subject to an unannounced follow-up investigation on 5 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland, commissioned by the municipality of Doetinchem. This inspection followed previous violations at the Investigation for Registration (November 2025) and Investigation After Registration (January 2026), in which shortcomings were identified in the domains of safety and health (recurring) and parental rights. The municipality had already imposed an order subject to a penalty. The follow-up investigation shows that the shortcoming in the domain of safety and health has been resolved: the safety and health policy has been updated and tailored to the location, including a concrete description of the drowning risk at the present wadis. However, the shortcoming in the domain of parental rights has not been resolved. The 2025 BSO inspection report is indeed on the website, but under an incorrect title (KDV) and therefore not easily findable for parents and staff.
