Welcome to BSO De Wissel, located at Dalton Kindcentrum De Wissel, De Hoop 3 in Uitgeest. We are part of Kidsbest Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend Dalton Kindcentrum De Wissel (and, by arrangement, De Kornak). Like the school, we follow the Dalton philosophy: children are given space to make their own choices and learn to take responsibility. Activities are organised around four fixed themes: sport & games, art & culture, technology and nature. After school, children can burn off energy in the gym or on the playground, get creative in the craft room, read in the library or play games together. GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) De Wissel in Uitgeest on 17 April 2026. The location meets all assessed quality requirements: pedagogical practice, linkage to the persons register, staff qualifications and deployment of a pedagogical policy officer. The care uses a shared space at primary school De Wissel and accommodates 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. One point of attention is the clutter in the group rooms experienced by parents, partly due to the shared premises. Previous violations from 2024 and 2025 have been resolved through a recovery offer. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
