About this care
Welcome to BSO Wassenaar-Zuid, located at Charlottestraat 7 in Wassenaar. We are part of Norlandia childcare and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location accommodates up to 34 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since June 15, 2017 under number 251008435.
At BSO Wassenaar-Zuid, children have all the freedom after school to relax, do crafts, read and draw. We work together with the Bloemcampschool, where we pick up the children directly after school. Our pedagogical staff are ready with dedicated attention and a varied activity program. Parents appreciate our friendly and involved staff who always do their best to provide new games and fun materials, completely focused on the children.
We offer various forms of care: before-school care (VSO) from 7:30-8:30 AM on Monday and Tuesday, after-school care (NSO) from 2:45-6:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (for groups 1-2 on Friday from 12:00 PM) and from 12:30-6:30 PM on Wednesday. Additionally, there is the possibility to only take holiday and study day care (holiday care) or only during school weeks (school week care). It is also possible to combine these packages.
Our location features a wonderful outdoor space where children can play to their heart's content. We believe it is important that children can develop freely and let their creativity run wild. Every day is different and offers new opportunities to discover and grow.Read more

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) Wassenaar-Zuid on 1 September 2026 in connection with an application to expand from 34 to 44 childcare places. The location, part of Norlandia, provides care for children aged 4-12 and makes use of a sports canteen and sports fields. The inspection demonstrated that most statutory requirements are met: the change was reported in a timely manner, all staff hold valid Certificates of Conduct (VOG) and correct registrations in the persons register, vocational qualifications and language requirements are in order, and the indoor (157 m²) and outdoor spaces meet the standards. However, an important point of concern was identified: sufficient permanent staff has not yet been secured to meet the required staff-child ratio upon expansion. The GGD therefore advises that additional childcare places only be utilised once sufficient permanent staff is available. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was issued.
