About this care
BSO ‘De Lente’ is part of Kindercentrum Marijtje Doets B.V. and is located at Aprilstraat 105 in Almere-Buiten. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is registered under LRK number 217530448 and has a capacity of 52 places.
Our BSO is a place where children can play, learn and grow together. We are guided by the values of respect, security, curiosity, self-confidence and cooperation. Children are encouraged to develop by spending lots of time outdoors, eating healthy food, exploring changing themes and discovering the world around them.
During school weeks we are open from 07:00 to 08:30 and from 14:00 to 19:00. In school holidays or on study days we may join forces with other Marijtje Doets locations; parents are informed well in advance.

Summary
BSO "De Lente" in Almere was visited unannounced on 3 February 2026 for the annual inspection. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 52 children, divided across 3 base groups. The pedagogical climate is assessed positively: the staff members are sensitive, respectful, and provide an emotionally safe environment. However, two shortcomings were identified. First, one staff member does not hold a fully appropriate diploma; the holder acknowledges this as a human error during the diploma check. Second, not all staff members received coaching in 2025, as the pedagogical coach was on long-term sick leave. Both shortcomings have been resolved: the staff member is no longer deployed formatively and the coaching plan has been revised. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Almere to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
