Summary
On 28 April 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO Berend Botje Stede Broec, location Woud in Grootebroek. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 23 children aged 4 to 13 years in one base group. All assessed requirements regarding pedagogical climate and staff and groups have been met. The pedagogical practice demonstrated a relaxed atmosphere in which childcare professionals accepted, praised and encouraged children. The interaction between different age groups was also positive. All childcare professionals hold the correct diplomas and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), and are correctly registered in the childcare personnel register. The pedagogical policy staff member is sufficiently deployed for coaching. In the past, there was a violation regarding the item 'Parent Committee' in March 2025, for which the municipality issued a warning; this has since been resolved.
