About this care
BORUS Zijdelveld has been a daycare center where children love to come for many years. The well-known “little tower” along the N196 is furnished like a home and has a wonderfully spacious private outdoor area.
At Zijdelveld 23 we have beautiful spaces for full-day care, the 3+ program, and early childhood education (VVE). In addition, there is a huge area to play outside. Our colleagues in the group guide your child(ren) daily with great enthusiasm, dedication and focus in their development. You are very welcome for a tour.
We provide daycare and toddler care for children from 0 to 4 years old. Early childhood education (VVE) is also available from 2.5 years old on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In our 2+ group we also offer preschool education.Read more

Summary
Borus Zijdelveld in Uithoorn provides childcare and early childhood education (VE) to 72 children in 4 core groups. The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 30 April 2025 shows that the location provides predominantly good care: children experience emotional safety, staffing levels are sufficient and well-trained, and the VE programme (Uk & Puk) is carried out professionally. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy plan contained an incorrect description of the cooperation between core groups, which could result in children being placed in more than two rooms. Following a recovery offer, the organisation amended the plan and decided to close the baby group Walvis as of 1 June 2025 to ensure stability. The violation has thereby been terminated. The GGD advises the municipality not to impose measures.
